Start with your agent
You already run a coding agent. It can do this for you.
Each procedure below is a plain markdown file at a stable URL. You do not run it in a terminal. Either paste the whole file into your agent — the Copy prompt buttons on the home page do exactly that — or, if your agent can fetch URLs, point it at the link and let it read the file itself. Both work, and pasting the file is the one that works offline.
Every one of these procedures reads your sources and never writes back to them.
I already have the knowledge somewhere
Section titled “I already have the knowledge somewhere”A folder of markdown, a wiki export, an Obsidian vault, a docs directory in a repo — or pages in Notion, Drive, Confluence, or Slack that your agent can already reach.
Read https://nicia.ai/import.md and follow it to move myteam's knowledge into a Nicia Brain.Your agent will ask which sources to read and what to call the Brain, import what it finds, and verify the result by asking the Brain a question and showing you the citation that came back. Nothing in your existing tools is modified.
What you get is a copy, which makes this cheap to try and cheap to abandon. A copy drifts once people keep authoring somewhere else, so run both for a week or two, compare the answers, and then decide whether the Brain becomes the place you write. Full detail: Bring your knowledge.
I want a Brain, or I am moving Brains to Nicia
Section titled “I want a Brain, or I am moving Brains to Nicia”Nothing written down yet, adding per-customer Brains to a product you ship, or migrating Brains you keep somewhere else. Same procedure: it starts by asking what you already have and branches from there.
Read https://nicia.ai/build.md and follow it to set upBrains in Nicia with me.If nothing is written down, your agent interviews you about what your team keeps re-explaining and writes those answers down as pages. It is told to record what you say rather than invent plausible-sounding content, and to leave gaps rather than fill them. If you already own the data, it provisions a Brain per tenant and syncs your records instead. Full detail: Add a Brain.
Prefer to click?
Section titled “Prefer to click?”None of this is required. Create a Brain in the app and drop a folder or a
.zip on it — no terminal, no agent, nothing lost on the way in. See

- Bring your knowledge — the import path in detail.
- Share it with your team — connect Claude Code, Codex, and any MCP client.
- Keep it good — review, maintenance, and export.
